MR has 21 years of experience in Software Development, I.T. Consulting and Outsourcing, and Program Management.

At Headstrong, where she spent 14 years of her I.T. career, MR worked in various roles as project manager, technical architect and software development manager. She led the product development of Headstrong's transit smartcard electronic payment system and implemented its clearinghouse and card issuer systems in three cities: Hong Kong, Taipei and Melbourne. She then held the position of Delivery Executive for the Manila Global Delivery Center and was responsible for the overall delivery of offshore application development and maintenance outsourcing services for Headstrong’s clients in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. As Delivery Executive, MR was accountable for both service quality and profitability metrics while performing strategic account level activities such as defining value-added partnership models, transformational outsourcing, vendor and customer relationship management.

She has worked in the areas of financial securities, insurance, banking, telecommunications, and transportation.

MR has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines (Diliman) and a Master of Science in Computing from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia). She also completed all core units of the MBA program at UP Diliman's College of Business Administration.
