Stratpoint Leads the Way in Women’s Empowerment

As the world celebrates International Women’s Month, Stratpoint proudly reaffirms its commitment to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and empowering workplace for women. As a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), Stratpoint actively integrates gender equality into its corporate strategies, ensuring that women have the opportunities and support they need to thrive in the workplace, marketplace, and community.

Why WEPs Matter

The Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), established by UN Women and the United Nations Global Compact, provide a comprehensive framework for businesses to advance gender equality. By aligning with these principles, Stratpoint demonstrates its commitment to embedding inclusive policies and practices within its organizational culture.

Stratpoint officially became a WEPs signatory on October 16, 2024, marking a significant milestone in its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) journey. This commitment was championed by Stratpoint CEO MR Dela Cruz, who signed the WEPs Statement of Support, pledging to uphold and implement the seven principles of WEPs across all business operations.

WEPs at Work

In line with its commitment to WEPs, Stratpoint will host a WEPs Workshop starting March 14, 2025. This initiative aims to introduce employees to the WEPs framework and develop actionable strategies to drive meaningful change. The workshop will cover developing strategies for each of the seven WEPs, including leadership, workplace fairness, health and safety, education and training, business development, community engagement, and transparency.

Stratpoint’s commitment to WEPs is reflected in its proactive efforts to empower women within the organization, aligning with its core CARE (Creativity, Agility, Reliability, Evolution) and Malasakit values:

Leadership Development Investment in mentorship and training programs to support career growth for women in tech.

Equitable Policies Implementation of flexible work arrangements and fair hiring, promotion, and compensation practices.

Safe and Inclusive Workplace Adoption of the Safe Spaces Act to ensure a harassment-free and supportive work environment.

Continuous Engagement Regular check-ins and follow-up sessions to track progress on WEPs initiatives.

Business Value of Gender Equality

Beyond social responsibility, Stratpoint recognizes that diversity drives innovation, productivity, and business success. By championing gender equality, Stratpoint enhances employee satisfaction, strengthens its brand as an employer of choice, and contributes to a more inclusive tech industry.

Stratpoint’s journey with WEPs is just beginning. With structured action plans, ongoing assessments, and leadership commitment, the company is set to build a future where gender equality is not just an aspiration but a reality. As CEO MR Dela Cruz aptly states: “For gender parity to happen, it’s important for women not just to be heard, but to lead. Doing more to support and develop women leaders is top of my agenda.”

As we celebrate International Women’s Month, Stratpoint invites employees, partners, and the broader tech community to join in the mission of making workplaces more inclusive and empowering for all.
