OUR STORY

2005

Stratpoint was founded in 2005 as a venue to showcase Filipino engineering talent on the world stage. An established software house called Sequel Solutions was acquired and rebranded into Stratpoint Technologies.

2009

Booked its first Silicon Valley client.

2010

Became the first homegrown AWS services provider in the Philippines.

2013

Formed the Stratpoint Tech Council, a core group of experts who steer the company’s technology strategy and spearhead innovations.

2017

Launched Stratpoint Labs, a business unit that covers artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging technologies.

Dado Banatao

Adviser
The “Bill Gates of the Philippines”, Dado is a Filipino-American engineer and a pioneer in Silicon Valley. Every personal computer (PC) contains items he invented and designed: the PC chip set and the graphics accelerator chip. He continues to support the technology and engineering sector through Tallwood Venture Capital and the Philippine Development Foundation (PhilDev), among others.

Paco Sandejas

Executive Chairman
Paco launched Stratpoint in 2005 when he acquired and rebranded Sequel Solutions. He is a technopreneur involved in ventures like Narra Venture Capital and PhilDev Foundation. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford, where he was the co-inventor of the Grating Light Valve, one of Stanford’s top IP revenue generators. He is also a board member of Sunlife and Maya Bank.

Mary Rose dela Cruz

Chief Executive Officer
MR’s experience spans 25 years in software development, IT consulting, and global outsourcing. She has served on the boards of the Philippine Software Industry Association, Philippine Science High School System, and Adamson University’s Industry Advisory Board for Computer Science. A techie at heart, MR holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of the Philippines and a master’s degree in computing from Macquarie University in Australia.

Cary Santos

Head of Delivery
As head of delivery, Cary brings 20 years of enterprise IT delivery experience to every Stratpoint project. He has successfully completed SAP and Infor ERP implementations, among dozens of major digital transformation projects. Cary has served in various technological roles in the enterprise IT industry, applying his expertise in process frameworks such as PMBOK 5, CMMi3, and Lean and Green Belt Six Sigma. He currently leads the Agile practice of Stratpoint.

Zayd Tolentino

Chief Technology Officer
Zayd Tolentino is a seasoned technologist and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in digital acceleration. He has helped numerous organizations in their digital transformation journey by establishing robust digital ecosystems and leading innovative tech teams. Previously the CTO at Singlife PH, he established a robust digital ecosystem that allowed the launch of several products and partnerships. A dedicated tech advocate, Zayd also co-founded and mentored several startups and actively supports innovation through initiatives like WeHackPH, which fosters community-driven learning, collaboration, and mentorship.

Paolo Alcabao

Head of Tech Council
Paolo is a Solutions Architect with close to a decade in developing apps, systems, and teams with a focus on Mobile Experience in varied industries, from Games and Weather to Horse Handicapping and Banking. He is currently leading and building the capabilities in Mobile Development (iOS, Android, and Cross Platform) as well Low – Code Platforms (Outsystems) to deliver high-quality and performant systems using the latest technologies. At present, he is also the head of the Tech Council, a group comprised of the company’s leading technical experts, in charting the course for innovation, technical capability building, and tools evaluation and development standards.

Sonny Carlos

Head of Cloud and Data Business
Sonny brings innovation into the solution portfolio of Stratpoint, powered by his 20 years of experience in the enterprise IT, broadcast media, and online gaming industries. He helps clients respond to changes, prepare to scale, and make informed decisions by guiding them in their cloud and data initiatives.

Marge Fernando

Head of Stratpoint AI/ML Labs
Marge carries to Stratpoint Labs over 20 years of combined industry and research experience in information technology consulting, software development, and biotechnology. Backed by 15 years of patient advocacy, she aims to bring computing in the life sciences with particular focus on pharmacogenomics and patient healthcare. Marge holds degrees in Computer Science (BSCS) from De La Salle University, and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MS MBB) from the University of the Philippines.

Lyndon Jason Catalan

Head of Quality Assurance
As the head of Quality Assurance, Lyndon is an agent of QA acceleration and a proven leader of Software Quality Assurance teams with more than 15 years of expertise in developing cost-effective quality strategies that ensure clients’ success. He collaborates with customers in achieving their overall business objectives by generating quality frameworks and setting them into their end-to-end business processes. Lyndon has also effectively helped in expanding team members’ capabilities through his software quality trainings.

May Buenaventura

PMO Head and Data Protection Officer
May has nearly 30 years of experience in architecting and implementing IT business solutions for local and global customers, and managing delivery teams. As the Project Management Office Head, she supports the delivery teams and Stratpoint management in reviewing project and company performance. She is also Stratpoint’s Data Protection Officer.

Annie Silva

Head of Finance and Admin
Annie is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in audit, business advisory, compliance, accounting, and general finance with local and multinational firms, where she also led successful implementations of various ERP systems and compliance initiatives. Annie ensures that Stratpoint runs a transparent, compliant, and sustainable business.

Jacqui has been helping organizations keep their employees engaged and proactive over the past 10 years. She has enabled both startups and multinational companies to leverage talent to achieve business goals — at the same time cultivating an environment that inspires employees to perform and grow with the company.

Narra Venture Capital is a venture management and advisory group that invests in private high-technology companies with potential for accelerated growth. Established in January 2002, it focuses its investments on companies with defensible barriers to competition — based on cutting-edge technology or their efficient deployment.

In Silicon Valley and similar technology centers, Narra has stakes in companies developing semiconductors, converged communication systems, computing platforms, and software.
