Globe elevates service by equipping field technicians with a knowledge app
Yaass! is a field service application used by Globe’s field personnel to receive information, learning materials, and videos from the head office.
Globe’s field service agents are deployed nationwide and are constantly in demand by customers. Thus, getting announcements, educational materials, and information to them is challenging. On top of that, traditional paper materials are wasteful, individual emails are tedious to send, and maintaining multiple versions of the same document is overwhelming.
Stratpoint designed and developed a field service application on OutSystems. Through an Agile approach, they delivered a working solution for Globe’s field technicians and engineers in 4 weeks. To improve the experience of the users, the app is continuously updated with features like vendor management, learning modules, and an on-site troubleshooting knowledge repository.
Because of the mobile app, Globe has equipped their field technicians with the skills they need to be successful in their assignments. They can receive and consume e-learning materials and how-to videos remotely, thus increasing their productivity and allowing them to be able to serve their customers successfully.
